Welcome to spring, I loved hearing the birds chirp & seeing some green outside! And as the weather warms up – We are getting closer to the recital! I’m so excited to finish for our first FULL year as PACE! I hope you had as much fun this year as I did!

We have only 2 classes left. Please make sure you have all your required dance attire asap. See Miss Lissa if you have any questions.

Just one last reminder if you owe ANY thing for the dance year (tuition, recital fee, costume fee) you will need to have that paid & add the $10 late fee to take your costume(s) home.

If you would like to purchase recital tickets at the discounted rate of $6 – make sure you see Miss Lissa by May 4^th. Tickets will not be for sale again till May 11^th at the door for $8.

We need volunteers to help with the Recital – from room moms, to ticket sales, setting up, clean up & backstage help.  If you are willing to help out please sign up ASAP.

Can you believe its MARCH! Wow this year if flying by. Only 8 more weeks till the recital!

Our Recital showcase will be May 11, at 6:30pm (call at 5:30) and held at Hochstein School of Music’s Performance Hall. Our show is expected to run about 2 hours.
Tech week will include Tuesday May 7 quick run though (times TBA), Thursday May 9th Full dress (5pm-8:30pm) and our May 11th show (5:30-8:45). If you have not done “Tech week” before please feel free to ask questions.
Advance pricing Tickets $6 will be available now until May 4^th. Tickets after May 4^th, and at the door will be $8.

Costumes will begin coming home April 6th.
Students must have a $0 balance to bring their costume home.
Currently 4^th Quarter is due (this is the last payment). If you still owe Quarter 2 or 3, Costume fee, or Recital fee please ADD $10 and bring in your payments asap. Costumes will NOT go home until bills are fully up to date including late fees.
A few costumes will not be shipped until April 11, they will be sent home when they arrive.

Reminder we will be closed March 30^th – April 5^th  for Spring break.
Terry Fyke’s Main St. players will be holding a Theater camp over break and putting on the play

We are having our end of the year Photo’s done by PACphoto again this year. Picture day will be Monday May 13^th and Tuesday May 14th, your classes day/ time is TBA. There will also be packages that include photos from tech week, and our showcase. Check out past work at www.pacphoto.net

Our Showcase will be filmed by Mac Village Productions who also films for Flower City Ballet, and many other dance recitals. Pricing packages will begin $25, with $5 off for advance orders. More information will be out soon, along with a link for direct ordering.

Program well wishes / Advertisement forms are now available.  The student/family who can sell the most add space will receive 2 free recital tickets.  *All ads must be in by April 13^th.

Hello everyone,

Welcome to a wonderful month!
I know everyone at PACE is very excited for our May 11, 2013 evening showcase at Hochstein. But before then we have some other performances coming up:

On February 24^th at 3pm will be our first student showcase! Many of our oldest students have been working hard choreographing their own solo songs to perform -   we even have 2 group numbers they have been collaborating on.  The students participating are Interns and Jr. teachers here at the studio and are training to become Teachers. Please come show your support as they test their wings in choreography.

On March 5^that MCC many of our students and teachers will be performing in LOVEJUSTICE. This is the studio’s 2^nd year supporting this event. We are determined to help bring an end to human trafficking.  *More information will be coming – look for posters.

Zumbatomic Classes are $40 for 8 weeks
Thursdays from 10am-11am ages 7-15
Fridays from 12:-12:45 ages 3-7

We are off regular classes from February 18-23. However we will be offering some special workshops!

Quick reminder currently “remainder of costumes” is due – many do not owe this fee, please check if you are not sure!  3^rd Qtr. is now past due, please add the $10 late fee if you haven’t paid this part of tuition.

Many costumes have been coming in, though we will not receive a few of them till March/April.  This is very normal as different costumes/ companies have varied ship dates based on demand.

For those of you following Angie’s baby news, we now know her baby will be a girl! I know this proud Aunt can’t wait to meet baby “Emily” in May!

Hello Parents, Teachers, and students,

Welcome to December, Our Christmas show if fast approaching! On December 16^th, 2012 we will be dancing in front of Bon-Ton at the Marketplace Mall. Please have your children there ready to go at 3pm. ALL student are asked to come with their hair in a tight bun, NO jewelry (small plain stud earrings are ok). There will be a small space for changing – But you must have a base leotard o at all times. Bon-Ton also has bathrooms we can use.

We can use A LOT of help.  We are bringing over the downstairs marley dance floor (a HUGE task), It must be rolled up as late as possible Sunday and brought to marketplace – then we need to securely tape it down. After the show all the tape must be ripped up and the floor we rolled and brought back to the studio.  We also will be bringing various other things – decorations, scrims, sound system ect.  Your help will be much appreciated to make this the best show for all the children.  If you can help (load, transport) please meet us at the studio at 1:45 we will work till 2:30, and then meet over at Bon-Ton marketplace at 3pm sharp. –Your help is needed to set up. After the show we need help getting everything back to the studio – PLEASE SEE LISSA TO SIGN UP, WE NEED YOU!

*We have a Tuesday room mom (older & younger kids), However we still need a Monday 4-6 year old room mom, and two for Saturday (3-6year olds, and 5-8 year olds). Room moms stay with the class before and after they perform – making sure they are wearing the right outfit, and keeping the kids together until a parent picks them up. Class interns & jr teachers will also be around to help (when not performing).

After the Christmas show we do have dance Monday-Thursday, but will be off
December 21, 2012- January 1, 2013.

Miss Angie will be leaning the gender of her baby at the end of this month, look for the excitement in January on our Facebook page

As many of you know Donna W. has worked very hard to create some of our beautiful Christmas outfits. Please send a big thank you to her on Sunday.

We have many exciting things coming up in the New Year our student chorography nigh in February.  And recently we have been asked to be part of the LOVEJUSTIC event again this year. LOVEJUSTIC Helping to bring light to human trafficking of young children.  If you or your child would like to be part of this amazing event please see Miss Lissa. Both my daughters (Tara & Bailey) were involved in the show last year and it made for a wonderful teaching experience.

Congratulations to all the kids on their hard work so hard in 2012 – I can’t wait to see the how spectacular you’ll be at our show!

Hello Friends and Family,
Welcome to the full on holiday season!  We are excited to be adding to the season’s joy with our December 16^th performance at Marketplace Mall at 3:30. We ask that all students arrive ready to go at 3pm. We will meet in front of Bon-Ton. See your teacher or Miss Lissa for your tights and leotard requirements. Costumes for December will be provided to borrow at no fee.

*We will need HELP with our December performance. Volunteers will be needed for the following jobs: Rolling the Marley dance floor, transporting sets/floor to and from, set up/ brake down at Mall, room parents, and I’m sure more jobs to come  PLEASE see Lissa to help.

We will be off from November 21^st- 24^th, Have a fun and safe Thanksgiving. 

Payments: Recital Fee is very overdue, If you haven’t paid please see Miss Lissa this week to avoid more late fees (currently add $10).
2^nd Tuition payment is now due – If you have questions about your child’s bill please ask.

For Monday and Tuesday 4-6year old classes we will be having a makeup class on Wednesday November 28^th from 6:00-6:45 pm. Please RSVP to Miss Lissa for this class as we will only have space for 8 students.
Monday Miss Allison’s Ballet will also be having there makeup class on November 28, from 6:30-8pm

As many of you know we have a great training program here at PACE for our Interns, and Jr. Teachers.  We only will accept the best teachers for your children. Part of what makes them the best is their training and dedication to the studio, and determination to see your child excel. And what makes them the best for PACE is how much they care about each of their students.

Our older students, Interns, Jr Teachers, and teachers will be holding a February choreography night at the studio.  Each song will be choreographed by the person dancing it.  We are so proud of the hard work the students are doing to create their songs.   *Keep an Eye out for more information on this great event!

It’s always exciting when the PACE Family grows- new friends, new students, and new life…..
And this May…..yes MAY Miss Angie will be welcoming a new baby into her and Tim’s life.  We are so excited to see if this new little one will be a great Tapper like his/or her Mommy!
