Weather
P.A.C.E Will update the website’s main page, Facebook Page, and Twitter feed by 2:30pm M-F & 8:30am Saturdays for Dance, and by 8am MWF for Preschool fun if classes are canceled due to weather. If the surrounding schools are closed P.A.C.E. may or may not be closed. *We will not call each student individually.
Insurance
P.A.C.E does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that all dance students be covered by their own family insurance policies and if injury occurs it is understood that the students own policy is your source of reimbursement. A release of liability waiver must be signed before your child can dance at the studio.
Classroom Etiquette
If students are more than 10 minutes late for class, they may be asked to sit and observe. Late-comers can be a distraction to the other dancers and proper warm-up is important to prevent injury. If there is a scheduling conflict getting to class, please notify the Director.
No gum, candy, food, or beverages (other than water) are allowed in the classroom, Please bring a water bottle to class. Dancers should use the restroom before class. There will be limited permission to leave class. The only jewelry permitted to be worn in the classroom are small earrings.
* All cell phones must be turned off during class.
Tuition and Fees
You will not receive printed bills or phone call reminders regarding class payment. Please make tuition payments promptly.
No refunds or deductions will be granted for absence or withdrawal, unless for medical reasons. If there are extenuating circumstances regarding payment, please speak to the Director BEFORE tuition is due.
This Agreement is for a minimum of 30 classes over a one-year period. This cost is split into 4 payments.
Tuition is due on the 1st of September, & November.Tuition is due on the 15th of January & March. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. All checks should be made payable to “P.A.C.E.”. Account statements will not be sent out unless your account is overdue. After the 7th of the month a $10.00 late fee will be added to your account and a past due invoice will be mailed out to you. There is a $25.00 charge on all returned checks.
*Costume & Recital fees are an additional cost.
Spring Showcase Performance
All studio fees must be paid in full or your child will not be permitted to participate in the recital. Each family can participate in fundraisers or pay a flat recital fee of $50 / $100per family. This fee includes: Dress Rehearsal fees, and Recital fees which include the purchase of the special equipment, scenery, props, programs, and other miscellaneous costs.
Students who do not wish to participate in the Spring Showcase (May 12, 2012) must notify the Director in writing 2 weeks before October 1, (or they will be charged a Recital Fee) / 2 weeks before December 1st (or they will also be charged a costume Fee)
Costume Fee
We will do our best to offer you quality yet affordable costumes.
A $50 (or $40 for classes aged 10 & under) non-refundable per class costume fee deposit will be due December 1st. The remainder of the costume will be due February 15th. (Our youngest classes may not have an additional cost)
Student Interns/ Jr Teachers
Advanced students may be asked to help with the lower level classes. Interns will not be teaching the classes, but will be following the teacher’s instructions, thereby helping with the dance education of the assistants as well as enabling the younger students to receive more attention. Jr Teachers will begin to take on more of a leadership role under the supervision of a Staffed Teacher. If you would like to be considered for an Intern role please see Melissa.
Media release
P.A.C.E. has the right to use any photo’s or video’s taken in class or at P.A.C.E. events for advertizing and promoting the Studio.
